Toyota has recently launched its new pure electric medium-sized sedan, the bZ3, which is built on the e-TNGA architecture and equipped with advanced features. Car boasts blade batteries and drive motors provided by BYD, and it offers a comprehensive cruising range of 517km and 616km, depending on the model.
The bZ3 size of 4725 ×1835×1475mm, with a wheelbase of 2880mm and 18-inch wheels. Its drag coefficient is only 0.218, and it consumes 11kWh of power per 100km. The exterior design of the car is similar to that of the bZ4X, featuring a closed front face with through-type LED daytime running lights that highlight its new energy attributes, headlight is a matrix full LED light source with a sharp shape, while the side lines are smooth, and the suspended roof and hidden door handles add a sense of movement.
bZ3 boasts a 12.8-inch screen equipped with a car machine developed by BYD Toyota Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. (BTET) and a new UI design.
Toyota bZ3 uses a lithium iron phosphate blade battery provided by BYD Fudi Power and a rear single motor. The motor is available in two specifications of 135kW and 180kW, with peak torque of 303Nm and the fastest acceleration from 0-50km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The battery capacity is available in two options of 49.92kWh and 65.28kWh, with corresponding CLTC cruising ranges of 517km and 616km, respectively. The car also supports fast charging, which takes 27 minutes at 30-80% at room temperature and 47 minutes at -10°C.
Toyota bZ3 was launched in China market, with the car receiving 5,000 orders already. It includes three versions:

Long battery life Premium version priced at 199,800 RMB.
