The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra hit the market with staggering momentum, securing over 10k pre-orders in just two hours after sales opened. Even more impressive, Xiaomi Auto reported that the vehicle reached 6,900 orders within the first 10 minutes of the pre-sale launch.
Each SU7 Ultra reservation requires a 20K RMB deposit, with the entry-level model priced at 529,900 yuan (roughly $72,990 USD), the potential revenue from these 10k vehicles reaches at least 5.3 billion RMB.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra isn’t just selling quickly—it’s built for speed. Powered by Xiaomi’s Super Triple Motor System, the vehicle delivers an astonishing 1,526 horsepower. This electric powerhouse accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 1.98 seconds and can reach a top speed of 201 mph when properly equipped.
Standard features include a track-oriented cooling and braking system, alongside a Nürburgring-tuned chassis that makes even the base version track-ready. At 201 inches long and weighing 5,511 pounds (2,500 kg), the SU7 Ultra claims the title of fastest four-door sedan around the Nürburgring.

The SU7 Ultra comes equipped with CATL’s Qilin 2 battery pack, offering 93.7kWh capacity. This provides a CLTC range of up to 385 miles (620 km), balancing performance with practical usability.
Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, shared his confidence in the SU7 Ultra, stating: “Our goal is to deliver performance on par with Porsche, cutting-edge technology that rivals Tesla, and luxury that can compete with BMW. The Ultra is an exceptionally powerful product, and our team is fully confident—we’re already 90% sure of hitting our annual sales target of 10k units.”
The immediate success of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra demonstrates the growing appetite for high-performance electric vehicles in China’s premium market. With deliveries scheduled to begin in April 2025 throughout China.
