The 5,000 free Supercharging miles are awarded when you take delivery of a new Tesla by the March 31 deadline and trade-in your old car. Sounds simple enough, but there are caveats. Tesla doesn’t guarantee orders will arrive before the cutoff date, so you’ll want to act fast. Also, the miles expire after two years and can’t be transferred if you sell your Tesla. Used vehicles, Cybertrucks, commercial purchases, and lease returns are excluded too.
