Ford has introduced various upgrades to the 2024 Mustang Mach-E

Ford’s iconic electric Mustang is getting one helluva upgrade for 2024. The Mach-E EV just got a whole lot racier, with Ford unleashing a flurry of performance boosts and tech treats guaranteed to give riders a serious case of highway fever.

Thanks to a new rear motor, 2024 Mustang Mach-E range is getting an up to 20-mile boost, with the longest-range trim now able to trek a haul-burnin’ 320 miles on a single charge, fastest Mach-E trim will now blaze from 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.

Models with that extended-range battery pack can now juice up from 10-80% state-of-charge in just over 36 minutes – a rapid 9 minute improvement. That means less time sampling truck stop french fries and more time eating up the open road.

Charging up that new road-ripping muscle is a fresh Performance Upgrade package that adds a roaring 100 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard on the new top-tier Mach-E Rally trim and is an optional extra for the GT. Ford made the smart decision to discontinue the GT as a standalone model and let drivers pick that performance punch on any 2024 Mach-E they choose.

Of course, Ford didn’t just focus on straight-line speed either. The Mustang Mach-E’s slick 15.5-inch touchscreen with redesigned button icons to make it easier to access key vehicle info at a glance. No more aimless scrolling or squinting required!

About price, let’s start with the entry-level Select trim. Slap on that rear-wheel-drive setup and the standard battery pack, and you’re looking at a cool $41,890 out the door. Step up to the Premium trim with the same powertrain, and you’re suddenly staring down the barrel of a $45,890 price tag.

Let’s talk about the real heavyweight contender: the GT model $55,890 before you even start ticking those tempting option boxes, be prepared to shell out an extra $995 for the Performance Upgrade package. Ford’s got you covered with the range-topping Rally model. This off-road-inspired beast will set you back a cool $61,890.
