Tesla China has unveiled a series of enhancements to its home charging solutions, aiming to make electric vehicle ownership more accessible and convenient for its customers. The company’s latest offerings include a complimentary cable upgrade and reduced pricing on charging station equipment.
Tesla’s home charging installation package now comes with a significant upgrade at no additional cost. Customers will receive a 30-meter cable as part of their installation, providing greater flexibility in charging station placement.
Alongside the cable upgrade, Tesla is offering price reductions on its charging station equipment. The company has introduced two primary options:
- Tesla Cybervault 7kW charging station
- Tesla 11kW charging station
Both models are available as standalone units or bundled with the 30-meter cable installation service.
The Cybervault 7kW charging station starts at 2799 RMB, while the 11kW model is priced at 3699 RMB. When paired with the installation service, the prices increase to 4660 RMB and 6400 RMB, respectively.
These charging stations offer convenient features such as automatic charging port opening for Tesla vehicles. Cybervault 7kW model includes a keypad lock for the charging gun, while the 11kW version allows unlocking through the Tesla mobile app.
Tesla’s latest charging initiatives in China demonstrate the company’s commitment to enhancing the EV ownership experience. By offering extended cables and more affordable equipment, Tesla is plugging into the needs of its growing customer base, ensuring that home charging becomes an increasingly seamless part of EV life.
