ONVO L60 has captured the electric vehicle market’s attention in China, leaving its creators scrambling to keep up with demand. Global Intelligent Vehicle Industry Conference became the stage for this unexpected revelation, as NIO’s CEO William Li shared insights into the overwhelming response to their latest offering.
Since its September 19 launch in Hefei China, NIO sub-brand ONVO L60 has seen orders pour in at an unprecedented rate. “The number of orders has far surpassed what we anticipated,” William stated, highlighting the company’s current focus on ramping up production to meet this surge in demand.
The excitement surrounding the ONVO L60 wasn’t confined to boardrooms and production lines. William took to social media Weibo, describing the delivery event as a warm, family-friendly affair. Alongside ONVO CEO Tiecheng, he personally handed over keys to the first batch of eager customers in Shanghai.
What’s particularly noteworthy is the L60’s appeal to first-time electric vehicle buyers. William expressed confidence in the positive experiences these new owners would have, emphasizing the company’s commitment to expediting deliveries across the country.
