Tesla has quietly introduced a new Long Range RWD Cybertruck variant on its Middle East websites, revealing a more accessible version of its polarizing electric pickup. The rear-wheel drive model boasts an impressive 350 miles of range and sheds over 500 pounds compared to its all-wheel drive counterpart.
The new RWD Cybertruck maintains Tesla’s commitment to innovative electric vehicle technology while making some notable compromises to achieve its longer range and presumably lower price point.

New RWD Cybertruck specifications include
The vehicle specifications include:
- 563km (350 miles) of range
- 3,402 kg (7,500 lbs) towing capacity
- Weight of 2,775 kg (6,117 lbs) — 517 pounds lighter than AWD model
- Ground clearance of 243mm (9.5 inches) — significantly lower than AWD’s 16 inches
- 0-100km/h in 6.6 seconds
- Top speed of 111 MPH
Looking at the specifications, the Long Range RWD Cybertruck appears to sacrifice some of the premium features found in higher-end models. Substantially reduced ground clearance suggests the absence of air suspension, a standard feature on the AWD variants.
Tesla has also removed the rear touchscreen from this model, further distinguishing it from its more expensive siblings. Changes likely contribute to both the weight reduction and what will presumably be a more accessible price point, though Tesla hasn’t yet disclosed pricing information.
This new RWD variant announcement coincides with Tesla’s plans to expand Cybertruck availability internationally. The company has confirmed that Cybertruck deliveries will begin in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar in late 2025, marking the first international markets to receive the distinctive electric pickup.
The range figures listed on these Middle East websites for existing Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast trims align perfectly with EPA-rated ranges in the US, suggesting the RWD’s 350-mile range will likely be officially confirmed when this variant eventually launches stateside.
For Tesla enthusiasts looking for more range at potentially lower cost, this Long Range RWD Cybertruck might just be the electron-powered truck they’ve been waiting for.
