Tesla Turn Signal Stalk Retrofit Now Available in China for $350 – Model 3 Upgrade

Tesla Turn Signal Stalk Retrofit

Tesla has quietly launched a turn signal stalk retrofit kit for the Model 3 in China, priced at $350 USD. Offering targets owners of leverless Model 3 refresh vehicles manufactured after February 7, 2025, addressing ongoing customer feedback about the button-based turn signal system.

The retrofit represents Tesla’s response to persistent user complaints about the touch-based controls implemented in recent Model 3 iterations. While the company has maintained that drivers simply need to adapt to the button system, market demand has apparently justified developing a traditional stalk solution.

Currently, the Tesla Introduces Turn Signal Stalk Retrofit program exclusively serves vehicles produced after February 7, 2025. Owners of earlier leverless models will need to wait, as Tesla hasn’t provided a specific timeline for expanded compatibility.

$350 price point positions the retrofit as a premium accessory rather than a standard option. Pricing strategy suggests Tesla views the stalk as an enhancement rather than a necessary correction to the original design.

Chinese Tesla owners can now order the retrofit through official channels, though installation requirements and procedures haven’t been detailed.

For Tesla owners frustrated with button controls, this retrofit offers a familiar interface solution. However, at $350, it’s certainly not a cheap way to signal your preferences.
