Elon Musk Plans to Offer Free One-Month Trial of Tesla FSD in North America

Tesla FSD

Musk retweet @teslasynopsis that he has a rough plan to offer a one-month free trial of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system to all Tesla car owners in North America. The move aims to expand the use of FSD in the region and other parts of the world. Musk tweeted that the company would extend the trial to other countries once they ensure it works well on local roads and regulators approve it.

Tesla FSD, which was launched in beta mode last year, currently costs $15,000 for car owners in North America. While the system is still technically in beta, Tesla has been collecting data to train and improve it. By offering a free trial to all Tesla car owners in North America, the company can gather even more data and promote the features of FSD, could also help promote the features of FSD, which is like getting free dessert from Tesla.

Outside of North America, Tesla has faced stricter regulations and has been limited in allowing owners to use FSD. Currently, owners can only use Autopilot, which is a castrated version of the system. Autopilot includes features such as automatic steering, braking, and navigation on and off the highway.

Musk did not provide a specific timeline for the rollout of the free trial, but the move is expected to generate excitement among Tesla car owners and further promote the features of FSD.
