ZEEKR 001 FR Super EV Rollout 1265HP Quad-Motor, Opens Pre-Orders of Limited Edition

Geely ZEEKR 001 FR

ZEEKR Automotive has officially taken the wraps off its high-performance 001 FR electric vehicle. The company is now accepting pre-orders for the limited production model, with deliveries slated for late October, just 99 units will be produced per month.

ZEEKR 001 FR introduces the world’s first quad-motor distributed drive system in a mass production EV. It packs a total output of 1265 horsepower from individual motors at the front and rear axles. The rear motor utilizes a carbon fiber-wrapped rotor capable of reaching 20620rpm to enable a 0-60 mph time of just 2.07 seconds, that’s faster off the line than even a Tesla Model S Plaid. Top speed is an equally ridiculous 280 km/h or 174 mph.

ZEEKR’s four-wheel torque vectoring technology allows the 001 FR to achieve 1.4G of lateral force. The carbon fiber aerodynamic package and track-focused AP Racing brake calipers further augment its performance capabilities.

The 001 FR offers multiple drive modes including Race, Drift, Overclock, and Launch to fully exploit its power. A 100kWh battery pack provides the juice while connectivity features like satellite communication for positioning and voice calls add to its technology appeal.

As the most powerful and fastest accelerating production EV introduced by ZEEKR yet, the limited edition 001 FR looks to excite driving enthusiasts. The quad-motor powertrain and carbon-intensive build make a strong statement as the brand looks to establish itself in the high-end EV space.

With pre-orders now open and first deliveries expected in just two months, the track-ready 001 FR is driving ZEEKR’s ambitions to lead in EV performance and tech innovation. The limited production run will build buzz as the company rolls out more models for global markets.
