Tesla Hollywood Diner Opens with Drive-In Movies & 80 Supercharger Stalls

Tesla’s Hollywood Diner and Supercharger station has officially opened to the public, combines fast charging infrastructure with entertainment and dining services, creating what Tesla calls a “destination charging experience.”

Opening represents Tesla’s vision of transforming routine charging stops into entertainment venues. Rather than simply waiting for batteries to charge, customers can now enjoy movies, food, and Tesla vehicle displays while their cars power up.

Hollywood location boasts 80 V4 Supercharger stalls, making it one of the largest charging installations in the Tesla network. However, real attraction lies in the facility’s entertainment offerings, which include a drive-in movie theater equipped with two 45-foot LED screens.

Audio system syncs movie soundtracks directly to Tesla vehicles’ speakers, creating an immersive viewing experience without external noise pollution. Customers can order food directly from their Tesla’s touchscreen, streamlining the dining process while maintaining the convenience of staying in their vehicles.

Tesla Diner’s menu includes traditional American fare designed for quick service and easy consumption. Offerings span burgers, fries, chicken wings, hot dogs, hand-spun milkshakes, and sandwiches, with additional items available for customers seeking variety.

Facility has paid particular attention to packaging design, featuring custom Cybertruck-themed burger boxes that reflect Tesla’s brand identity. Attention to detail extends throughout the venue, from Tesla Diner merchandise to Optimus robot displays that served popcorn during the opening event.

Diner showcases the company’s entire vehicle lineup, including Cybercab and Cybertruck models. According to the Cybertruck Lead Engineer Wes, the facility features a unique display containing the first HFS (likely referring to Hard Facing Steel) sample used for ballistics testing, complete with handwritten engineering notes.

The venue also offered official Tesla Diner merchandise during its opening, including Optimus Diner figures that commemorate the robot’s appearance at the launch event. From the facility’s upper deck, visitors can view the Hollywood sign, emphasizing the location’s strategic positioning within Los Angeles’ entertainment district.

Tesla Diner faced significant challenges during construction, particularly due to its proximity to recent LA fires. The company expressed gratitude to first responders who helped protect the area during these events, highlighting the community support that made the opening possible.
