Tesla Launches Model S Plaid Track Package, known for pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle performance the Model S Plaid, and the latest addition to their lineup is no exception. The Model S Plaid Track Package is designed for the ultimate track experience, providing high-speed stability, maximum cornering effort, and repeatable braking during high-performance driving.

The biggest selling point of the Model S Plaid Track Package is the ability to unlock the top speed of the Model S Plaid up to 200 mph, or 322km/h. Makes it one of the fastest electric vehicles on the market.

Package Components

The Model S Plaid Track Package includes a carbon ceramic brake kit, aluminum forged wheels, track tires, and brake fluid. The brake discs feature continuous fiber technology, with a ceramic friction layer covering the entire rotor surface to reduce brake dust, corrosion, and wear. The one-piece forged calipers with high-performance pads provide maximum stopping power during high-performance driving.

Wheels and Tires

The aluminum forged wheels are designed for high-speed stability, with a zero-gravity center cap, tire nut valve, and lug nut caps. The track tires are Goodyear Supercar 3R tires, providing maximum grip and traction during high-performance driving.

Compatibility and Pricing

The Model S Plaid Track Package is compatible with Model S Plaid vehicles manufactured after 2021. The pricing for the package has not been officially released, but it is estimated to be between $15,000-$20,000.

Limitations

The Goodyear Supercar 3R tires are not recommended for winter use, and Tesla does not recommend using these ultra-high-performance summer tires when temperatures drop to or below approximately 40°F (5°C) or in snow/ice conditions.
