Tesla Actually Smart Summon Coming to Legacy Model S and Model X in Q4 in this year

Tesla Actually Smart Summon

Tesla’s commitment to innovation continues to shine as the company announces the imminent release of Actually Smart Summon (ASS) for legacy Model S and X vehicles. This upgrade, slated for release before the end of the year, demonstrates Tesla’s dedication to keeping its older models at the forefront of automotive technology.

Despite their age, Tesla’s legacy Model S and X continue to receive cutting-edge features. The recent FSD v12.3.4 update is a testament to this commitment. Now, with the introduction of ASS, these vehicles are poised to take another leap forward in autonomous capabilities.

What is Actually Smart Summon?

Tesla describes ASS with its characteristic humor: “Buckle up for the ride of your life, except, surprise! You’re not in the car.” This next-gen Smart Summon feature allows the vehicle to navigate to the owner’s location or a designated spot entirely on its own, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in vehicle autonomy.

Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s Director of Autopilot Software, has confirmed that ASS will arrive for legacy S and X models in Q4. This announcement has generated significant excitement among Tesla owners who have been eagerly awaiting this feature for years.
