Kia has released full pricing details for its highly-anticipated 2024 EV9 electric SUV. The EV9 marks Kia’s first entry into the three-row EV segment and will be available in multiple trim levels when it arrives next year.

The base EV9 Light RWD starts at $54,900 before any tax credits or incentives. This rear-wheel drive version provides an EPA-estimated 223 miles of range.

Stepping up to the 2024 EV9 Light Long Range RWD raises the price to $59,200 but pushes the range to 300 miles. All-wheel drive models under the Wind and Land trims start at $63,900 and $69,900 respectively. Both offer 300 miles of range.

At the top of the lineup, the sporty EV9 GT-Line AWD starts at $73,900 with the same 300 mile range estimate.

Kia has packed the EV9 with appealing tech features even at base trim levels. The spacious modern interior offers flexible seating for up to 7 passengers. An advanced driver assistance system enables hands-free highway driving in certain conditions.

With a length similar to the Tesla Model X and 5,000 lb towing capacity, the EV9 aims to blend practicality with performance. Its futuristic exterior styling also helps it stand out.

Overall, the EV9 presents an enticing new three-row EV option starting under $55,000 before incentives. Deliveries to U.S. customers begin in late 2023, giving Kia a head start in this emerging segment. The combination of style, space, range and pricing should allow the EV9 to find strong demand among families seeking an electric alternative to traditional gas-powered SUVs.
