SpaceX has begun selling its Starlink products directly on Amazon, despite the long-standing rivalry between Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. The satellite internet provider’s support pages now officially list Amazon as an authorized retailer in the United States, joining existing partners like Best Buy, Home Depot, and Walmart.
Currently, Amazon storefront offers several Starlink accessories, with the Wi-Fi router among the available items. Most products qualify for Prime’s expedited shipping options, including overnight and one-day delivery, a significant convenience upgrade for potential customers.

Decision to sell Starlink products on Amazon marks an unexpected shift in strategy. Elon and Bezos have maintained a public rivalry for years, particularly in the space sector. In 2019, Elon claimed Bezos was copying Starlink after Amazon filed for FCC approval to launch its own satellite internet constellation, now known as Amazon Leo.
Until this development, SpaceX had deliberately avoided Amazon’s marketplace, instead focusing distribution through other retail channels and direct sales via the official Starlink website. SpaceX hasn’t commented on the reasoning behind this strategic pivot.
New retail partnership comes amid SpaceX’s aggressive push to expand Starlink’s market reach. Recent months have seen the company introduce various discounts and more affordable monthly plans in the US market, introducing a $40-per-month plan and new $80-per-month plan, suggesting a concentrated effort to grow its subscriber base.
Addition of Amazon as a sales channel provides SpaceX with access to the e-commerce giant’s massive customer base and sophisticated logistics network, potentially accelerating Starlink’s adoption rate across the country.
